Since July 1, 2013, Dr. Gladys M. Santiago and Ramon M. Davila have been operating the Love Kitchen Ministry, which includes:
1) Love Kitchen, Soup Kitchen 2) Food Pantry
Why do we have the Love Kitchen? The food insecurity rate for Hartford County is 13.4% (Feeding America’s statistics-2014). This means that there are about 120,200 people in Hartford who most likely have nothing to eat every day. The child food insecurity rate is higher, 17.8%, 35,340 children.
With your support, we will continue our mission of feeding the hungry.
Please contact the Operation Managers, Dr. Gladys M. Santiago or Ramon M. Davila, for volunteering at email@example.com or 860-547-1561.
If you have questions about Love Kitchen's website, facebook, newsletter, or fundraising please contact Dr. Gladys M. Santiago at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Rev. Dr. Paul T. Echtenkamp is the Pastor of GCIC since June 2013, after many years of faithful service as assistant to the late Bishop Raul Gonzalez. Dr. Paul is a founding member of GCIC and served for many years as Senior Elder and Secretary/Treasurer of the Board of Elders.
Pastor Emeritus Rev. Willie Gonzalez, and her husband, the late Bishop Raul Gonzalez, founded Glory Chapel International Cathedral in 1979. The church was established to provide a place where the graduates of Youth Challenge and their families could be spiritually fed, become part of a church family, regain their dignity, and rebuild their place in society.
